Mr. Fox
Mr. Fox's
Story
Do you remember Mr. Fox, the tiny puppy rescued by our partner, HOPE – Egyptian Baladi Rescue & Rehabilitation, in Cairo, Egypt?
When Fox was found, he was curled up in the grass, with a severely injured leg and skin that had been badly damaged. We have no idea what happened to this little boy, but we can only imagine the incredible pain and fear he must have been experiencing.
Fox was rushed to the veterinarian, where it was determined that his leg could not be saved. Sadly, amputation was his only chance at recovery.
This tiny boy, who is no more than three months old, has been in the hospital ever since. But today, we finally have some wonderful news: Fox has been released from the hospital and is heading to a foster home!
He has already come such a long way. His blood parasites have been treated, and the injuries to his tail and genital area have healed. He has also received his vaccinations and will receive his next set when he is old enough.
Fox is doing so much better, and we are incredibly grateful to the veterinary team and everyone at HOPE for giving this little boy the care and chance at life he desperately needed.
Despite everything he has endured, Fox is still just a tiny puppy with his whole life ahead of him. Now he gets to begin the next chapter of his journey—learning what it means to be safe, loved, and cared for.
Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and makes it possible for us to help dogs like Fox. Your support truly saves lives.
Welcome to your new chapter, sweet Fox. ❤️
