Puchki: Pumpkin Crunch Souffle

Puchki means “little darling” in Bengali. According to the foster they have never seen a more friendly, happy and loving dog than this girl. Puchki was rescued off the streets of Kolkata after she had been hit by a vehicle, not once, but twice. Puchki had Xrays done and results showed that she suffered from nutritional hyperparathyroidism with signs of pathological fracture (anterior), epiphyseal fracture of joint femur, and signs of osteo arthritis in both legs. There is not much more we can do for her legs in Kolkata except for the physical therapy so when we move her to Delhi, we will have one of the specialists look at her and if not then we will wait until she gets to the United States. For now she is happy and loving life and we are grateful to everyone who supports us so we can help dogs like this sweet girl.
